When I have presented "What is Napoleon Hill Philosophy?" to small groups, I have tended to emphasize the clarity of mind, and procedures and benefits surrounding that. What may merit more explicit clarification is the significance, after the Vision is Observed, of Kindling those few sparks of Observation-meets-Possibility-meets-desired-Objectives (you've INVOLUNTARILY recast u'r minds i and found it's an Op forwards AND backwards, [so you kindle them{being generous with the reader can go too far. that's like the floor dropping out from underyou when you just want to walk across the book...}again you can {hey how did you know...} KINDLE THEM]) into a small flame on the kindling wood (read "index cards", you hipster-PDA holding Getting Things Done afficianados out there), and ... then bringing the baby and then child flame to the bigger sticks of .... Is the Akeda ("sacrifice" of the child) meant to suggest facilitating the child's independent adulthood, and progressively relinquishing parental authority over him? ... a teen then adult project ... through writing up plans, talking to people, raising funds, etc., then hiring, running the biz, perhaps now answerable to a more rationalized board, and perhaps new demands for social conformity? .... and you've got to take those tiny spar ... spermarks ...and not let them drop into a bucket or out ur imagination's (depreciating) drainpipes but rather ... You Want ... to kindle this fire. You'll FIGHT TO DEFEND this fire from those who do not regard it as worth maintaining , and you'll keep yourself constantly on guard at the natural challenges of wind, rain, etc., knowing that the COSTS are going to add up ... perhaps exponentially, as debt, AND ... the most appreciation you'll get for it is "just doing your job" and the least is ... rather less favorable ... and you yet you choose, from that nastily pleasurable spermarktake on this challenge ("no gap").
Yeah and people have a really hard time with someone who's happy and motivated AND has good reasons for being so. Some of your clients and even (especially) prospective partners may tend to take the "kicking the tires" thing rather far! And the way to not let this phenomenon phase you is to (1) expect it, and (2) understand that YOU ARE NO BETTER IN THIS REGARD AND OFTEN WORSE YOU HIGHLY INTELLECTUAL AND JUDGMENTAL WORMDOG, so ... chill... stay focused AND chill and proceed in PMA. And if after all this introspection it is indeed THEM who are wontonly kicking at the tires, recklessly and without respect for the interests of others, what are the most suitable, and then cost-effective, means to bring this matter to a resolution.
And at the same time, you also keep in your mind (by explicitly reminding yourself and giving it at least several seconds of consideration) that you may have an Emergency Situation or a Physical Fight or Flight situation on your hands BOOM out of nowwhere anytime anywhere, and you must train your mind to respond to at least the most predictable forms of emergencies, by Molting into a POSITION of BALANCE (mentally and otherwise) such that you instantly say to yourself "OK, I am in an eMergency: OODAloops-" This is MUCH better than the average person's "Huh?!" or "AAAAH AAAAH!!!" or "Get me out of here!" You should be sure to practise the psychological emergency response for at least a Moment every morning.
And after you get into this habit you will be able to discern who among the people around you is awake and who is more zombielike.

g-d's 9 iron is that thoughts and logic and beliefs are no more "rational" than (M)usic ... ^AND^ ... (good) Music works, music can offer calm, efficiency, pace, energy, ... meaning! we're not just talking bob nesta's rastaman vibrations here ...we're talking the music Einstein liked to train his brain into ... we're talking the fact that the (musical!) band was ESSENTIAL and FUNDAMENTAL to Spartan military practice (and btw, the Spartans won the Peloponnesian War if you recall, so it may behoove those who consider themselves worthy Athenians to review your Victor Davis Hanson*).
Those piano lessons w/ Ms. Payne were not designed to be annoying but to show how to play your life like a wonderful concert.
*"I have no problem with the notion that the perceived pulse of the battlefield governs ongoing attitudes toward the wisdom of conducting war—only with the denial of that truth. Pericles, after all, was fined after both the plague and Spartans roaming the fields of Attica disabused once zealot supporters that “his” war was going to be short. And a motion for censure of Churchill in July 1942 was discussed when the British were depressed after the fall of France, Singapore, and Tobruk, and knowledge that neither Bomber Command nor British forces in North Africa had done much to check Hitler. In contrast, had the United States had a republic secure and up and running in Baghdad 3 months after the end of the three-week war, at a cost of say, 400, fatalities, missing Weapons of Mass Destruction and all other the other complaints would not have been real issues, as supporters would have pointed to the other 22 writs of war in the October 2002 Congressional resolutions that are as valid now as they were then."
"Omnip" has been defined as the noun form of "what/how-do-learn-teach" condensed into one word!
("you can do that?" read it again Stan, and K u g-damn J, we just did! screw u guys AiMm goin with towely ta get Chai latte at *oxen [JB: "but we don't HAVE a sheep truck."]).
I liked how Requiem for a Dream exploits the notion that true deep introspection into how weak and animalistic our own impulses can sometimes be ... is (1) comparable to looking at your own arm having to get cut off because of decisions YOU made, or to prostituting your lover to satisfy your desires, and (2) a good way to carry out teshuva (in addition to mitzvot, charity, name/city changes, etc.) might be to consider that you are GOING TO GET your Andy Warhol 15 minutes of fame, and actually it MAY be rather more than 15 minutes, in fact you may be the star of the Juice show...where the well-coiffed host exposes your dirty laundry on the public stage, gleefully, because that's his job, with the smiling help of his beautiful and not brilliant assistant, and the cheers and whoops of the ccrowd(y). and heaven may be a place where you're either a spectator of the unfolding of the universed as influenced by your actions (and inactions) or you can take a reflective meditative (angelic?) trip on that. and when you trip you are as an angel flying among the living humans and interacting with them, and then you observe it was real, but by then you are back to the spectator position.
The Zombies are spectating; the Living are participating. When Bloomberg came to Hong Kong in '97 he warned of Privacy's loss. The cameras are everywhere. Internet records are everywhere. And only moore-so forward (unless we annihilate ourselves). Can we face the camera? I say we must make a psychological choice to face the camera, to live, to wake up, to desire the fire, and let her warmth and light bring us ever greater peace-in-the-workaday.
now there's one thing I would have done differently if I were the producer ... (and hey you guys can sell me this franchise; actuall i should see if you have even gone as far as to take some sort of ownership...the phone # 1-917-976-JUICE doesn't work... and I suppose it's not easy to get a JUICE domain these days... i would actually UTILIZE the built-in (to the story) PRODUCT PLACEMENTS! Duh! Easy as Pi crust.14159265357989 (some people dispute this but that was what was on the poster, in an HM teacher's office I believe, from which I memorized these few digits.
if reality is socially constructed, does blogging of one's idle thoughts ... and the consequent phantasy that they are ... living on out there ... itself give one ... some marginally greater measure of ... spermarkactreception
as john wayne didn't say "u kin pry my fantasy out of my cold dead omniplog
