Kefir (Lifeway) recommendation

In My Naive Estimation, kefir, such as Unsweetened varieties of
Lifeway brand offers not only a much broader range of probiotic Cultures, but also high protein, at no cost in taste or otherwise, compared to most commercially available yogurts. Zabars sells this brand, in plain unsweetened, and in many fruit flavors; I like to mix. I doubt such a product has made it to China yet, especially at the reasonable prices here. Maybe someone can make domestic (Chinese) kefir, and/or offer Lifeway a chinese plant?

Unconventional (RNC Big [Biggie Smalls mashup] New Tent [not quite brave
new world])

Please copy and paste all text in email to forward up, along with to this page>.

Presented to gop rnc's group of rollingdragon group blog on
"rollingdragons" or “rollingdragongroup” page.

Draft McCain speech to RNC:

To be followed by:

[Musical performance, a techno-rocking thriller that makes symple
low-tech bonnie raitt or whever that democcrat who performed the dem
music (she covered, in more quiet AND more Patriotic fashion, Bruce
Springstein's 'born in the usa' [to demonstrate how far she bends to Dem
Will]). Perhaps Rage Against The Machine. Yeah, that's how big our
fucking tent is , mutherfuckers. 'bulls on parade'? [yes they're frickin
dumbAnarchists (with very bad associations indeed), but their music
ROCKS @!@:) And/or Maybe RATM performance of David Lee Roth, VH, Jump.
Hi Rage, you can perform and need not feel yourself commodified, but we
have our terms too. ). Also rap show on behalf of MC Cain and DJ Palin :) ]

WORDS/TEXT of MC CAIN SPEECH:

The dems have to stand by their guy, for the sake of party unity, but
they've accidentally allowed the father-out elements get the upper hand
among their party, a risk all parties (including our own) must confront
...and we do! [applause]

I stand before you today to ask your vote for the republican ticket not
because Republican is inherently right, or for any other reason than the
fact that I have manifested during my life more of the prerequisites of
good leadership than my esteemed opponent, mr. Barack hussein obama, has
had the opportunity, so far in his still young life, to manifest. [applause]

Cut to the chase: "What do I got?" : Well, for us to appreciate what
team mccain, palin, and Republican USA, has to offer, we have to explore
what team USA has to offer the world.., [await big applause]

Ladies and Gentlemen I'm going to lean slightly back in time, to relate
how our story brings us here, and only then we can discuss where and how
to go forward. [applause?]

Let's go back to 1964, when another Arizona state official told me some
things about where America was and where she was headed. Barry
Goldwater, ladies and gentlemen. [claps?]

[Youtube link? From RNC website. “I invite people to try RNC.org Not so
much a messianic BARACKOBAMA.COM proclamation, but a humble plea to get
together, organize, learn, act, and restore American leadership. And a
plea to young, and old, republican party supporters to sign up on our
facebook, also linked from ”

[“Why facebook? It's a great american market success story. Young hero
makes good, leverages harvard education to build top social networking
app in the world :). {the dems played their risky black pawn, and we
republicans are similarly play their pawn, me [laughs, applause]}

I think Bill Gates or maybe Steve Jobs (unfortunately Facebook's Mark
Zuckerberg is still too young), may well make a better choice for
America than me, but they're not availing themselves yet. Maybe in 4
years you and Mrs. Palin can continue our efforts. Or a Google guy, or
Yahoo's Jerry Yang might be a good person for the job. We need our tech
people, our media people, our industries and our entrepreneurs, to agree
from the deepest level of their heart on our mission, and to do that we
need to articulate our vision and act on it, that they may proudly
consider themselves Americans in spirit and not just in law, and act
with an american interest that is consistent with the global interest,
and with their own ...” [applause] The republicans, the GOP grand OLD
party. the big elephant, which is sometimes even more favorable than a
mule.{Obama would take us further away, rather than closer to, our
shared dream, and godrilling, our shared destiny.}]

My speech today. some kids would say. is a mash-up. It is to a large
degree, and most respectfully, clipped and pasted from the mouth of
another AZ republican (senator?), Barry Goldwater. Not because his
speech was for an Older time, but because it IS STILL GOOD! [applause]

...

BG speech.

'What a destiny can be ours. “

I can see a day when all americas north and south will be linked ... ...

in rising tide of prosperity, ... we pledge human sympathy, enlightened
self-interest, sympatico.

Guiding emerging nations everywhere.

...

Our example must like charity begin at home.

...

If it is to be said that i am such and such a president. Let it not be
said that i am a Bush president. Rather let it be said that, win or
lo00ose, I am a Goldwater Republican. [appplause]

And if the late night comedians must make fun of me because I'm OLD, let
me reassure them that I've only just begun, baby. [applause]

Not to say I'm not a Bush Republican, but if I am to be so
characterized, as a representation of a prior republican, I would have
it said we are restoring to the Grand Old Party the spirit of Goldwater.
And if my esteemed opponent continues to sling the Bush Republican
appellation at me, I will contest that he presents as compelling a case
as a second term for Jimmy Carter, with all respect due to a man who has
occupied the esteemed office that I may be deemed fit to occupy. And if
I must offer a mantra to match my opponent's Yes We Can, I'd have it be
“america 2 point 0 [and you may find interesting content at america 2
point 0 dot org (that's O-R-G for Organization rather than the more
common commercial “dot com” suffix) [or something with “2012” in it]. I
also have brainy and bright technologists, whose support I certainly
rely on, assisting me. I'm not the great symbol, but that's not the only
factor to judge. Just as we must steady the surfboard beneath our feet
in order to enjoy the waves carrying us forward, we must give a fair
hearing to tried and true ideas as we also consider radically NEW ideas
for how best to move forward.] [applause]

[Policies on Immigration,

energy (prices will drop when we show we are serious, by exploring such
evident potentially worthwhile opportunities as alaskan oil. That may
not itself SOLVE our energy problems, in fact we'll need you young
people to help support a lot of technological innovation, but our NOT
taking such obvious action as exploring that opportunity, we reveal we
are NOT SERIOUS about reducing oil prices, and you can all feel the
consequences of what the democrats have been doing at the pump right
now.). [applause]

And not excessive climate change problems.

[We must assure the kids that we know what a cool world they are growing
up into.

Moore's law. And the SENSIBLE among the choices we can take together to
ameriorate the risk of climate change]

A young advisor on staff told me how some of his friends are truly
paranoid about miserable conditions purely as a consequence of man-made
environmental damage, ..

we make myths. And if we don't choose good myths, we may find our kids
choose some less than good ones. [if no applause: We must take rather
expansive view of our situation. ]

the war ... hearts and minds indeed require good symbols, but symbols
should not be our primary (or maybe should only be for Democrating Party
Primary) consideration. [applause]

the world... our audience today includes people in Tokyo, in Georgia
(and with all due respect I am not speaking here of our friends down
south), [applause], in Shanghai, in Lebanon, in New York, in Bangladesh,
in Israel, in Mumbai, and in Kenya (“a shout out to Kenyans... still
listening :) ?”) ... ]

Sorry old time habitual repubs. We're fighting for the center. We thing
that's the right thing to do and we've got the better man (and woman)
for the job, and our positions are a significant bit more favorable both
for you and for those who want to participate in the american dream,
than are those of our opponent, who we concede is indeed better purely
from the symbolic perspective. [and for isolationists or disaffected
Republicans of any stripe please keep in mind that insufficient support
of the approach our nominating process has agreed on, let alone an
overly aggressive effort to support a third party, can do what a
Genuine, passionate, and indeed heroically-inspired Ross Perot did to
George Bush Senior].

Sorry IF we have underperformed recently. But as we consider our policy
errors and errors of judgement, mistakes of tone, omissions of
additional good things we could have done to make the situation better
for ourselves or others less fortunate here and abroad, let us also
consider some of the many things we have done right.

We will be gracious to our Democratic brothers and sisters in any case,
and hopefully come what may the world in 2012 will be ...

This time let's do it right. Let's not suffer Goldwater's unfortunate
1964 political fate. This is a call to courage. To consider trying AGAIN
things that did not succeed when we tried them before, if only to make
sure we have coolly considered our best options. In the voting both,
choose from your heart, choose with courage, and make the choice with
the good guidance of your intellect.

[Perhaps come 2012 some of our strategies were wrong and we played a few
hands poorly, or unpredictable external events have required a greater
need to recover our course, well we will recover and progress further
one way or another. let's not dither, and let us advance with the best
guidance we can avail ourselves of, rather than relying on symbols to
protect us.] [applause]

[{my advisor warned me} to add the below would make it way too far out
and bold and fail to manage expectations., {but i can't but express my
sincere hope, a reflection of the deep faith that's carried me through
the hard times in my life, and thru the good, and all the way to today,
}] [applause?]

[(or have a technological singularitist (Moore's law and all)

+ jweidner (various cultures' epochal predictions)?) A great evolution
is happening. Our nation is birthing a NEW NATION, and it may, if we
behave in accordance with our creators' will, be delivered in 2012, or
more imminently.... We have new domains to develop :_) ]

{We must assure the kids that we know what a cool world they are growing
up into. And we will work with them to ensure that it is kewl indeed. }

Vife application (is this how you humans do things?)

Who do I have to eat to get...

Seeking: Hot, brilliant, great. Perhaps 25 jewish doctor / medical babe hero?
Offering: Full, creative, different, not bad. Perhaps small-scale aspiring business venturer or just good times.

Guessing what my wife would be like: She is physically quite attractive, even moreso than me (they say this is best). She should probably be Jewish, since that's my background and with the whole matrilineal descent thing and
J idea and all it's probably easier and perhaps g--d. [If not born J (her mom J) she must be Convertible.] She probably has a medical background, because (sexist ?) I see that as a good modern (smart and good) female profession. [A certain particular national] familiarity would greatly aid, but that contracts the applicant pool too much. Tolerant of Flexibility of life course, for better or worse :p?
Me: Alternately hot and fat, brilliant and absurd/pathetic, so strong and so weak, hero and jackass, a fan of Tom Wolfe's "a man in full" (argument for contemporary stoicism) and other TW work.
33 good background, not enough to show for it yet, hopefully good things soon, finance, tech, media, asia (china japan) and new york (born and raised). Tall as napoleon and less fat than a fat guy, muscular and quite yogic (physically active (yoga, skate, etc.), spiritual and physically playful).

Optional Creative portion of application:

Obama Arab Action Affirmative: Just words

On Arab Affirmative Action Presidential Candidate Barak Hussein Obama

To call a spade a sp... no, poor choice of words, and one must not mention how some Democrats may be spooked ...

“Some of my closest friends are ...” nope, but I have respect. I grew up finding inspiration in rap, and having black classmates, black sports competitors and team-members and heroes, and a few black friends. I am aware that Black is cool. I'm literate so I know blacks have suffered greatly and continue to suffer greatly. Now for the bitter medicine:

Does America want an Affirmative Action president ? And an Arab one at that?

Obama is not a wolf, but an Arab. He's not in sheep's clothing, but in
Black clothing.

“I read somewhere that he hid his race in his college application,
so he's not an affirmative action case ... ...
... but I don't know how he could have hid it during the interview...”
is what a Bush-hating friend acknowledged.

We may notice that his Obama's name is closer to Barachu Husni Obaham
than Barry Harrison O'Malley. These are not
"Just Words" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ffwY74XbS4)
but rather "just names"?

Why unmask him? Arabs and Muslims are of course not inherently bad. That his heritage may be reasonably described by an objective observer as Arab should perhaps in itself be of no great concern. (And parodies that exaggerate his Arabism do not refute the essential facts.) The problem is that he's
in the tank for
Arabs, and for Islam as it is actually manifested among global Muslims.
Islam is an identity to which he can be expected to side with more
closely than other pandered-to interest groups. (This leaves ambiguity
as to how he may regard the principles of Islam and the degree to which Islamic societies reflect them, such principles which to a post-modern thinker like him are but narrative tools...)

Why is he wearing the mask?
1 Base. It keeps the blacks confident in him, and without that base he would never have had anything;
2 AA Benefits. It affords him the benefits of black affirmative action rather than the question marks of Arab affirmative action;
3 Zap. It gives him a stack of “Racism!” zaps that he occasionally resorts to; and MOST IMPORTANT:
4 Symbolism. Being the black David of our age (to which Goliath?) gives him symbolic power that is so awesome it's almost overwhelming in itself!

"I have become a symbol..." Obama said. Indeed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a25kH75MB7I&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=islXuW7qmqc

Another salient question is why we have so far failed to unmask him.
One reason may be that he is so much fun. He's charismatic and rhetorically gifted and just a damn stretch more entertaining than dull old "Honest John" McCain. Our postnationalist and
entertainment-world-fused news media cannot help but stare at the Obamanon. **I don't know what to do with this one.** Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are broadcast over and over daily, every three
hours, while Red Eye is aired but once, at 3AM! There are also real
war and global Balance-of-Power issues, and such concerns as: If our
policy is to never draw the line with respect to an Enemy who openly
seeks our destruction, doesn't that mean we eventually lose even the free speech of drawing Cartoons (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rUVDTmMD7s)? (This is a reference to the Danish Muslim cartoon controversy and how pathetically it played out in America, rather than the New Yorker cover Muslim cartoon controversy.)

If Our behavior is 80% just and 20% faulty, there are those who will
still inveigh against our impurity, even as the Enemy is their active 1% among their highly sympathetic 20% among their somewhat sympathetic 80%...

Reverend Wright's "Audacity of Hope" (yes the title of Obama's book is
from a sermon from his Spiritual Mentor, the man who married him with
his wife and baptized his children) is for WHICH Change? (Recognizing
that such change is surely of the "yes we can" and "we believe in" sort.)?!
The Rev. Pflegrant (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UByFZ07mIC8) ...

His erstwhile Church's
love of Farrakhan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epok-l2AUMY) ...

His Church's
blame of Israel. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3hrcCszAacY) ...

Not "just words" but "just friends" and "just community" and "just
Spiritual Mentor"? His numerous substantial affiliations in the Pally
world and the Terror-symp world? Brzezinsky? And it's a GOOD thing that this would-be master diplomat ditched his mentor and his church for his political advantage, and that he made exaggerated promises to Israel that he quickly backed away from in front of another audience?

“Hey, just empower the hero Obama and he will discover the great
responsibilities that such power entails, and learn to enact our dreams” ?

Will America's Original Sin of slavery (along its long line of original sins) be finally Cleansed by this Obama coronation? Is such a course in
the interest of even the ignorant masses who drink in the fantasy? Condy
Rice is ignored and derided for leaving the plantation, but surely
Republican was not the party of Lincoln.

He who seemed not just black, but black and white, not just b&w, but
B&W and Red all over (i.e., dumb commie revolutionist, and so
charismatic he gives the media tingly legs and is thereby widely Read
of), is truly golden (43% arab, 6% black, but only a jackass would be
unsporting enough to acquire such intel, and surely it's a coincidence
that Muslims tend to think he's a Muslim) all over.

An appealing symbol or an imprudent risk?

Both?

There are many things McCain says (and neglects) that concern me (on
Saudi, tech/competition in general, MMA, global warming, immigration,
and more), but it's nice that he personally is an authentic hero. I'm
sympathetic to the NOTA idea or the suggestion my friend made of a
Bloomberg candidacy (though I'd prefer Lieberman). A new Center seems
healthy. I'd like it to include ideas such as those of
"Winner Take All"

author Elkus's warnings on tech policy, national information processing
capacity, and their relation to competitiveness
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfqKZlMfnX4&feature=user). Elkus for
Sec'y of Tech (Competitiveness, Security, and Digital Government).

Welcome O-thusiasts to reveal how this analysis is naive or unfair, or
concede its validity and express (or link to) additional concerns of
comparable significance.
